Removing stains from laminate flooring

Accidents happen easily. But if you have a Pergo laminate floor, there is no need to worry that your floor will be damaged if you drop food on it or anything else that stains.

    What do you need?
  • Kitchen paper
  • Cloth or mop
  • Pergo All-round Floor Cleaner

If you drop food or anything else on the floor, you can easily clean it and the floor will look like new again. Just remove the worst of it with a dry piece of kitchen paper and throw it away. Next, take a damp cloth with some Pergo All-round Floor Cleaner on it and wipe it clean. In most cases, the stain will disappear completely. Air the room so that the floor dries properly.

Acetone for stubborn stains

If you have stubborn stains, for example if a child has drawn on your floor with a marker pen, you may need a stronger cleaning product. The most effective way to remove stubborn stains is to rub them with a cloth with some acetone on it. Make sure that no acetone gets into the tiny joints between the boards.
